Nafl before Fajr

Question

Is it the case that after the time of Fajr has begun, before the Fajr prayer is performed, no nafl prayers at all may be prayed?

Answer

At this time no nafl prayer should be prayed. Praying the sunnas of Fajr is not forbidden — on the contrary, particular emphasis (ta’kid) has come regarding them.
