Sunan al-Hudā and Sunan al-Zawāʾid

Question

Starting actions such as putting on clothes or other things from the right side — are these considered Sunan al-Zawāʾid (as mentioned regarding prayer and wudu), or are they Sunnah Mu’akkadah or Mustahabb?

Answer

These are considered Sunan al-Zawāʾid when they relate to customary actions and social habits. However, when they relate to acts of worship, they are considered Sunan al-Hudā.
