Surat al-Qadr in witr during Ramadan

Question

Is reciting the sura “Inna anzalnahu” in the witr prayers in Ramadan a sunna or not? One person says it is a sunna; another says: “I do not accept it as a sunna.” What is the ruling?

Answer

Reciting the sura “Inna anzalnahu” in witr as something specifically fixed is not established by the hadiths. Like the other suras, this too is one of the suras, and reciting it in witr is also permissible.
