Shafi'is praying witr separately

Question

Here, some Shafi'is also attend the tarawih in Ramadan. At the end of the tarawih the Shafi'is separate and pray their witr prayer separately. Is this act correct according to the Shari'a or not?

Answer

Do not say anything to them: they will act according to the madhhab of their imam, because according to them the witr prayer is only one rak'a.
