Attending to the translation [of the verses] during the prayer

Question

A certain person, so that his heart may be engaged in the prayer, recites a verse and then turns his attention to its translation. In doing so there is some pause with silence, but he says it is less than [the time of] three tasbihs. However, in this way the pauses of several verses, added together, come to more than three tasbihs. Does the prayer remain valid in such a case or not?

Answer

The prayer is indeed valid even in this way.
