Pas-i anfas (dhikr with every breath) during the prayer

Question

I have made it my habit that “la ilaha illa Llah” (لا إله إلا الله) comes out with every breath. If I am praying in congregation and, while listening to the imam’s recitation during the prayer, this kalima comes out with every breath, will my prayer be validly performed or not?

Answer

In the state of prayer this should be avoided; remain attentive to the imam’s recitation.
