When the cap remains uncovered by the turban in prayer
Question
The imam leads the five daily prayers; he wears a two-panelled cap on his head and ties a turban over the cap, but the cap on his head remains uncovered by the turban. Some of the worshippers object to this and say that the prayer becomes makruh tahrimi if the cap remains uncovered by the turban. Some of the followers agree with the imam and say that no defect arises in the prayer from the cap remaining uncovered. Kindly clarify this issue: who is right?
Answer
Those who object to the cap remaining uncovered by the turban should be asked what the reason for the objection is. And those who say that leaving the cap uncovered by the turban is makruh tahrimi should be asked in which book it is written that it is makruh tahrimi.
