Praying in a kurta worn inside out

Question

Can one pray wearing a kurta (a long loose shirt) inside out — that is, can one pray wearing a cap, a kurta and trousers inside out? And can one pray on an upside-down prayer mat or an upside-down row-mat (saff)?

Answer

The prayer will be discharged, but praying wearing things inside out is makruh; it is bad manners.
