The gaze falling on the qibla wall
Question
If, while rising from ruku‘ or sajda and sitting, the gaze of the imam, the munfarid (individual) or the muqtadi (follower) happens by chance to fall on the wall, will the prayer be makruh? And if one does so deliberately, what is the ruling?
Answer
The prayer will not be makruh because the gaze falls on the wall in front. Doing so deliberately is contrary to the mustahabb (khilaf al-mustahabb).
