Praying with the buttons left open

Question

What is the ruling on performing the prayer with the collar buttons undone without an excuse? And what defect will there be in the prayer from the sleeve buttons remaining undone?

Answer

Whether the collar buttons are left undone or are fastened, the prayer is valid either way. It is wrong to think that the prayer must be performed only with the buttons undone. The same ruling applies to the sleeve buttons.
