Praying without taking the hands out of a blanket

Question

In the cold season, what is the ruling on performing the prayer wrapped only in a sheet or a blanket, in such a way that only the face remains uncovered and both hands are inside the blanket? Or is it necessary for both hands to be outside and uncovered?

Answer

One should not keep both hands in such a way that they remain inside even in ruku' and sajda. In a state of severe cold there is latitude.
