Must permission for the takbir (iqama) be taken from the mu’adhdhin for every prayer?
Question
If the mu’adhdhin tells a certain person just once, “Whenever you come to the mosque, say the takbir (iqama) without my saying anything,” will it then be permissible and correct for this person, after this one-time permission, not to ask permission again and to say the takbir — or must permission for the takbir be taken from the mu’adhdhin every time and for every prayer?
Answer
A one-time permission is sufficient, since it is given for always.
