It is better to say the takbir (iqama) with the mu’adhdhin’s permission
Question
Is it valid to say the takbir (iqama) without the permission of the one who gave the adhan, or not?
Answer
The takbir will indeed be valid, but it is better to say it with [the mu’adhdhin’s] consent. If he is not present, or there is some excuse, then it is a different matter.
