Not Turning the Head at the Two “Hayya ‘ala” in the Adhan

Question

If, in the adhan, the mu'adhdhin does not turn his neck at “hayya ‘ala al-salah” and “hayya ‘ala al-falah”, whether deliberately or out of forgetfulness, what is the ruling?

Answer

He has acted contrary to the sunna; the adhan is valid.
