The Belief About a Verse That “Flew Away”

Question

A certain person holds the belief that, because Musa ﵇ threw down [the tablets of] the Torah, the verse “…and an explanation of all things” (وَتَفْصِيلًا لِّكُلِّ شَيْءٍ) “flew away” [was lost]. Is this belief correct or not? What is the true state of the matter?

Answer

No mention of this is found anywhere in the books of ‘aqida (creed). The person who holds this belief should himself be asked what his proof for it is.
