Was the Nikah of Hazrat Zaynab ﵂ Renewed?

Question

Was the nikah of Hazrat Bibi Zaynab ﵂ with Abu al-‘As ﵁ renewed in the end, or did the earlier nikah remain in force?

Answer

It was the earlier nikah itself that remained in force. So it is in “al-Lama‘at”, the commentary on “al-Mishkat”.
