The Eid Prayer on a Field

Question

There is a government field where the Independence Day and Republic Day events take place; on the visit of some great leader or for some other reason, meetings, processions and the like also take place there, as do sports and games — in short, it is where all the affairs of the city are settled. Is it permissible in the Shari‘a or not for all the Muslims to gather and perform the Eid prayer on this field?

Answer

If there is permission from the government, then it is valid there too.
