Leaving the Eidgah and Praying Eid on a Field
Question
The prayer has always been held in the Eidgah (open ground for the Eid prayer) or the mosque, but mischievous people — on a sports field (it is a specific, separate field, and at night people relieve themselves on it) — can the Eid prayer be performed in this place or not? If the prayer is not valid, who is responsible for it? Let it be clear that the field lies right next to the mosque.
Answer
Since there is a permanent Eidgah for the Eid prayer, to abandon it without reason and perform the Eid prayer on some other field is a wrong way of acting. If the place there is impure, the prayer there will not be valid either.
