School attendance at the time of Jumu'a
Question
I am a teacher in a government Urdu school in the state of Maharashtra. The time of Jumu'a falls between 1½ and 2 o'clock, that is, during school hours. We used to close the school and simply pray Jumu'a; now the officers harass [us] for it. What should be done in such a situation? In the evening the school (madrasa) runs from 2½ to 5½ o'clock, and apart from this employment there is no means of livelihood.
Answer
Make an effort to find some place where Jumu'a is held at 2½ o'clock.
