Saying Bismillah over Food from Mixed Lawful and Unlawful Property

Question

If in a meal the lesser part is from unlawful property and the greater from lawful, what of saying “bismillah” over it? And if it is the reverse?

Answer

There is no objection to saying “bismillah” over what is mixed. But saying “bismillah” over something categorically forbidden the jurists have recorded as kufr.
