Pilgrims Bringing Back Goods in Violation of the Law

Question

Many people, on returning from Hajj, buy and bring back gold and the like because it is cheap there, whereas according to the law of the Saudi government, taking many things out of the country beyond a certain quantity is prohibited. Will one be sinful for not observing this law?

Answer

When a person enters the domain of the Saudi government, it is necessary (lazim) for him to abide by Saudi law.
