Obedience to the husband is binding

Question

What is the ruling concerning a woman who does not do as her husband tells her?

Answer

It is necessary for a woman to obey her husband; if she does not obey, she will be sinful. However, if he commands her something contrary to the Sacred Law, it is impermissible to obey him in it.
