Having the beard line shaped

Question

Question: Zayd had the hair on his throat (Adam’s apple) shaved off with a razor, being of the view that this is permissible; he also has the hair near the ears and on the cheeks shaved off with a razor. Therefore kindly favour us with an answer. He also has the hair on his temples shortened with scissors — is this permissible or not? Note: Zayd regards removing the hair in these three places as having the beard line shaped, whereas ‘Amr states the opposite. Please write an answer.
