Coat, shirt, European-style hat, Turkish cap and the like

Question

Question: What is the ruling on wearing the prevalent coat, collared shirt and European-style hat? And what is the ruling on wearing the Turkish cap (fez)? And what is the ruling on wearing breeches, which are worn when riding a horse? And is it permissible to use buttons of brass and the like, and other items such as a water jug or a cooking pot, or jewellery for women, or not?

Answer

The clothing mentioned is not, in this age, the clothing of the righteous, so this clothing should be avoided, especially by people of knowledge, since they are the ones who are followed. And using clothing that is the particular national distinctive mark (shi‘ar)
