Relations with the Qadianis and the Funeral Prayer over Them

Question

If a person of the Ahl al-Sunna becomes a Qadiani, does he go out of Islam or not? Is it permissible to maintain customary relations with this person, to eat at his invitation, to take part in the celebrations of nikah and the like at his home, or to invite him to a meal at one’s own home; if he dies, to take part in his washing and shrouding (tajhiz wa takfin), or for some scholar, despite knowing all the circumstances, to perform his funeral prayer and to bury him in the burial ground of the Muslims — or not?

Answer

According to the fatwa of the ulama of Islam, the Qadianis are kafirs. Whoever becomes a Qadiani has the ruling of an apostate; keeping relations with him, taking part in his nikah and the like, or letting him take part [in celebrations] at one’s own home, is impermissible. Participation in his funeral and the funeral prayer [for him] are also forbidden.
