The Qadiani and His Books
Question
I am a servant of the Tablighi Jamaat. On one journey I happened to meet a Qadiani. I asked him: “The ulama of Deoband call you people kafirs.” He said: “Those people have misunderstood the meaning of our books, whereas those gentlemen should have ascertained the meaning from us and should not have called [us] kafirs.” I said: “What are the names of those books?” He gave the names of the books: (1) “Ek Ghalati ka Izala” (“Correction of an Error”) (ایک غلطی کا ازالہ), (2) “Anjam-e Atham” (“The End of Atham”)
Answer
Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani laid claim to prophethood and denied the finality of prophethood (khatm al-nubuwwa), whereas Hazrat Rasul-e Maqbul — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ — is the very last prophet, and after him no prophet will come; this matter is established by the Holy Qur’an, by well-known (mashhur) hadiths and by the consensus (ijma‘) of the umma.
