One Whose Husband Has Become a Qadiani

Question

My daughter is married and is pregnant, but unfortunately my son-in-law and all the members of his household have become Qadianis. So now, according to the Sacred Law, does the daughter’s nikah remain valid, or has it been annulled? What is the ruling for our daughter now?

Answer

The ulama of Islam have issued the fatwa of kufr against Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani, because his beliefs were contrary to the Qur’an and the Hadith. He was a denier of the finality of prophethood (khatm al-nubuwwa), and hence he committed grave insolences against the dignity of the prophets ﵈; he claimed prophethood for himself.
