The Status of ‘Isa’s ﵇ Prophethood After His Descent

Question

When Hazrat ‘Isa ﵇ comes down from the heaven, will he still be a prophet at that time, and will revelation (wahy) come to him, or will he come having been removed from prophethood? Also: when Hazrat ‘Isa ﵇ comes again, will he be a follower of the Muhammadan Sacred Law, or a prophet with a law of his own?

Answer

His prophethood will not be taken away; rather, it will remain preserved. But he will not enforce, under his former preserved prophethood, those rulings which were specific to his own community; rather, he will enforce them in accordance with the Sacred Law of the Noble Messenger ﷺ.
