Surah Al-Jathiyah (الجاثية)

• 45:1

  حمٓ

  HaaMeem. (Only Allaah knows the correct meaning of these letters.)

• 45:2

  تَنزِيلُ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْحَكِيمِ

  The revelation of the Book (the Qur'aan) is from Allaah, the Mighty, the Wise.

• 45:3

  إِنَّ فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ لَـَٔايَـٰتٍ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

  There are certainly many Aayaat (proving the Greatness and Oneness of Allaah) in the heavens and the earth for the Mu'mineen.

• 45:4

  وَفِى خَلْقِكُمْ وَمَا يَبُثُّ مِن دَآبَّةٍ ءَايَـٰتٌ لِّقَوْمٍ يُوقِنُونَ

  In your creation and the creatures (animals) that We have spread out (on earth), there are also numerous Aayaat for those who are convinced (about the truth of Towheed).

• 45:5

  وَٱخْتِلَـٰفِ ٱلَّيْلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ وَمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مِن رِّزْقٍ فَأَحْيَا بِهِ ٱلْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا وَتَصْرِيفِ ٱلرِّيَـٰحِ ءَايَـٰتٌ لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ

  The alternation of the night and day; the sustenance (rain) that Allaah sends from the skies that revives the earth after its death; and the turning of the winds (in various directions); are all Aayaat for people with understanding (who use wisdom).

• 45:6

  تِلْكَ ءَايَـٰتُ ٱللَّهِ نَتْلُوهَا عَلَيْكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ ۖ فَبِأَىِّ حَدِيثٍۭ بَعْدَ ٱللَّهِ وَءَايَـٰتِهِۦ يُؤْمِنُونَ

  These are Allaah's Aayaat (verses) that We recite to you with the truth (exactly). So what will they believe after (failing to believe) Allaah and His Aayaat? (When they fail to believe things that are so clear, how can they be expected to believe in anything else?)

• 45:7

  وَيْلٌ لِّكُلِّ أَفَّاكٍ أَثِيمٍ

  Destruction be for every lying (false) sinner...
