The Holy Quran 45:10 — Surah Al-Jathiyah

Arabic text

مِّن وَرَآئِهِمْ جَهَنَّمُ ۖ وَلَا يُغْنِى عَنْهُم مَّا كَسَبُوا۟ شَيْـًٔا وَلَا مَا ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَوْلِيَآءَ ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ

Translation

Before them (waiting for them in the Aakhirah) is Jahannam. Whatever (wealth) they earned will be of no benefit (use, avail) to them, neither will the patrons (gods) that they adopted besides Allaah be (of any help to them). (There in Jahannam) They shall suffer a terrible (mighty) punishment.

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

مِن أمام هؤلاء المستهزئين بآيات الله جهنم، ولا يغني عنهم ما كسبوا شيئًا من المال والولد، ولا آلهتُهم التي عبدوها مِن دون الله، ولهم عذاب عظيم مؤلم.
