The Holy Quran 45:26 — Surah Al-Jathiyah

Arabic text

قُلِ ٱللَّهُ يُحْيِيكُمْ ثُمَّ يُمِيتُكُمْ ثُمَّ يَجْمَعُكُمْ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

Translation

Say, "(I have no power to do this because when He willed) Allaah gave you life, (when He wills, He) will give you death and (when He wills, He) will then gather you all for the Day of Qiyaamah about which there is no doubt. However most people do not know (this and choose rather to follow untrue beliefs)."

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

قل -أيها الرسول- لهؤلاء المشركين المكذبين بالبعث: الله سبحانه وتعالى يحييكم في الدنيا ما شاء لكم الحياة، ثم يميتكم فيها، ثم يجمعكم جميعا أحياء إلى يوم القيامة لا شك فيه، ولكن أكثر الناس لا يعلمون قدرة الله على إماتتهم، ثم بعثهم يوم القيامة.
