Catching Pigeons in the Mosque

Question

Zayd says that catching pigeons in the mosque of his village for the purpose of hunting is permissible, while Bakr says it is impermissible?

Answer

Hunting pigeons as such is permissible, but respect for the mosque is also necessary; therefore they should not catch them in a way that leads to disrespect of the mosque.
