Hunting Sparrows from the Roof of the Mosque

Question

What is the ruling on sitting on the roof of the mosque and shooting sparrows with a gun, or hunting from a tree such that the game falls into the mosque?

Answer

Climbing onto the roof of the mosque for hunting is forbidden; likewise, hunting in such a way that the animal falls into the mosque and the mosque becomes soiled is also forbidden.
