Performing Wudu on the Floor of the Mosque

Question

Is it right to perform wudu on the floor of the mosque or not?

Answer

Performing wudu on the floor of the mosque that is designated for prayer is not permissible. If there is a drain for wudu, let people perform wudu there; otherwise let them go away from the mosque floor and perform wudu apart from it. In short, pouring the used water of wudu onto the floor of the mosque is prohibited.
