Buying a Bucket for the Bathing Room with Mosque Money

Question

Is it permissible to buy a bucket from the mosque’s waqf property for ghusl (the ritual bath) in the mosque’s bathing rooms or not? Or if someone buys a bucket and endows it to the mosque, is it permissible to keep that bucket in the bathing room for the ghusl of the general public or not?

Answer

It is permissible, from the income of what is endowed for the needs (masalih) of the mosque, to buy a bucket for ghusl and place it in the mosque’s bathing room so that the worshippers may perform ghusl with it when needed. Likewise, if someone himself buys a bucket and places it there for this purpose, that too is correct.
