Money of an Irreligious Kafir for a New Mosque

Question

Is it permissible to build a new mosque by taking the money of an irreligious kafir as assistance, or not? And is it correct to take the money of an irreligious mushrik as assistance and put it into a madrasa, or build a madrasa with it, or spend it on the students’ food, or not?

Answer

Asking the irreligious (kafirs and mushriks) for help for a mosque or a religious madrasa is out of place; do not ask them at all. If he himself gives help and there is no fear of any wrong consequence from this help, then accepting it is correct.
