Money from an Interest-Bearing Loan for the Mosque

Question

What is the ruling on building a mosque by taking a sum as a loan on interest?

Answer

The sum that has been taken as a loan on interest is not haram, and putting it into the construction of the mosque is also proper. But giving money on interest is a sin; refraining from it is necessary.
