Do the minarets of a mosque make supplication?

Question

(1) What is the Sharʿi ruling concerning the minarets of a mosque? Do the minarets of a mosque make supplication (du‘a)? Kindly explain and oblige us. (2) Are the words written in the appeal correct?

Answer

(1) In the noble hadith there is no emphatic instruction to build a minaret. Wherever the name of Allah is mentioned and He is worshipped, that place becomes full of light, the mercy of the Most Pure Lord descends there, and it is generally protected from wrath. (2) In the wording of the appeal this has not been attributed to a hadith.
