Endowing a mukhannath’s house to a mosque, by himself or through another
Question
Zayd’s profession is dancing and singing; later he also became a mukhannath (an effeminate man). From this very income he has a house which he wishes to endow as waqf to a mosque. According to the Shari‘a, can this house be endowed to the mosque or not? 2. Can another person buy it and endow it to the mosque? 3. Can it be bought with the mosque’s income and made waqf?
Answer
Allah the Pure is Good (tayyib), and He accepts only what is good; haram wealth is not accepted at His court — neither by way of purchase nor by way of waqf.
