If a well-to-do partner dies before the sacrifice
Question
Question: A man was a partner in a cow for the sacrifice, and the sacrifice was wajib upon him according to the Shari‘a, but that man died before the animal was slaughtered. What we wish to ask about this is: if, in place of the deceased, some person who intends to sacrifice wants to take (it) as his own share, can he be made a partner or not?
Answer
It can be done: he should buy that share from his heirs and become a partner.
