Buying an animal for sacrifice and then taking others into it as partners
Question
Question: A person bought an animal with the intention of sacrifice, fed it fodder and the like so that it became fat, then sold it at a higher price and kept one share in it for his own sacrifice. Is it correct to do so or not?
Answer
If, at the time he bought that animal, his intention was to sell six of its shares, making others partners, and to keep one share for himself and offer the sacrifice, then there is latitude for him to do so.
