The Legend of Hawwa’s Relationship with Qabil

Question

(1) While Hawwa remained married to Hazrat Adam, she enters into sexual relations with Qabil; after some time Hawwa separates from Hazrat Adam; Hawwa has a son by Hazrat Adam named Qabil; Hawwa wished to marry Qabil; out of fear that certain malicious persons would harm Hawwa's child, Hawwa and Qabil conclude offer and acceptance (ijab and qabul) in private and keep it secret. (2)

Answer

(1–4) This story is pure legend. Marrying one's mother has never been permissible in any sacred law.
