Where Is the Grave of Adam and Hawwa?

Question

Some books state that one should not go to visit even the hundred-cubit shrine that some people have built for Hazrat Hawwa, since it has no basis. Please explain: where is the grave of Hazrat Hawwa, and where is the grave of Hazrat Adam?

In “Rawdat al-Safa”, volume one, it is written: [ar]وفات آن حضرت آدم علیه السلام در روز جمعه در مکه واقع شد و حوا بعد از او یک سال، و به‌قولی هفت سال، رحلت نمود، در جنب آدم علیه السلام مدفون شد[/ar] “The demise of Hazrat Adam took place on a Friday in Makkah, and Hawwa passed away a year after him — according to one report, seven years [after him] — and was buried beside Adam.
