Yunus’s Reaching Tahta al-Thara

Question

If [the thickness of] each earth is a journey of five hundred years, then how has it been established, both rationally and by transmitted report, that Hazrat Yunus reached tahta al-thara (the depths beneath the earths) in forty days and then returned?
