The Ring of Sulaiman

Question

Is the ring of Hazrat Sulaiman a prophetic miracle (mu‘jiza) or not? And if it is, can anyone seize it?

Answer

It is commonly said that the kingdom and rule of Hazrat Sulaiman depended on the ring — that is, the rule in reality was subject to the ring, so whoever possessed the ring possessed the rule. However, Tafsir Ruh al-Ma‘ani, vol. 23, p.
