The status of a kullama oath after apostasy

Question

A certain person swore an oath with the word kullama and supposed and assumed that there can be no expiation (kaffara) for it in this world in any thing or form; therefore that person became an apostate (murtadd) — Allah’s refuge is sought. Then, after half an hour, that person embraced Islam. What is to be ascertained is: will his deeds become void because of this apostasy or not, and will the expiation lapse or not?

Answer

It is wrong to think that after swearing a kullama oath no way to permissibility is possible. Through apostasy all deeds are ruined, so much so that if he had already performed Hajj, repeating it becomes necessary.
