What Is the Ruling If Red Colour Hardens on the Nails?

Question

Women apply a thick red colour to their nails for adornment. Will wudu and ghusl be valid over it without removing it, or not?

Answer

If the red colour that women apply to their nails for adornment hardens in such a way that the water of wudu and ghusl does not reach the nails, then in that state neither wudu nor ghusl is valid until this colour is removed.
