Is One Ghusl Sufficient after Several Acts of Intercourse?

Question

Should the ghusl of janaba be performed once for each single act of intercourse, or is one ghusl sufficient after having intercourse several times?

Answer

It is better to perform a separate ghusl after each act of intercourse. Even if one suffices with a single ghusl after having intercourse several times, that too is valid; but one should cleanse one’s organ [before resuming] and should not have intercourse with an impure organ.
