Artificial Teeth in the Ghusl of Janaba
Question
Zayd has had teeth made for his jaw. Is there any shar‘i objection to performing ghusl and the like while these artificial teeth are fitted? That is, is purity attained by performing ghusl or not? Please favour us with a detailed answer about this. Explain, and be rewarded.
Answer
The artificial teeth should be taken out and [then] rinsing of the mouth etc. should be done for the ghusl of janaba. However, if they are fitted in such a way that taking them out is difficult, then it is sufficient even without taking them out.
