External Use of Impure Honey

Question

May impure honey be used for a poultice and the like, and what should the manner of its use be? Or should it be thrown away?

Answer

If one wishes to use honey that has become impure, without purifying it, in some poultice or the like, one may do so; however, for prayer the place of that poultice must be purified. Internal use of impure honey without purifying it is not permissible.
